In the last several weeks, the Illinois General Assembly has approved various different pieces of legislation addressing the impact of COVID-19. HB 2455, known as the Illinois Work Jobs Program Act, is a recently passed amendment to the Illinois Unemployment Insurance Act as it relates to academic employees.
